This is her character Karen. She turned out looking more like a supermodel than I intended, and I didn't do such a good job of showcasing that cool/creepy thing on her hand, or her awesome armor design. But I had fun trying.
Honestly, you need to check out the original here: [link]
Oh man, I am so so so sorry that it's taken me forever to get around to commenting on this. It makes me happy every time I see it in my inbox. I HAD a big comment written out a few days ago, but tried sending it without realizing that my internet had died, and subsequently lost it, which was sufficiently frustrating to make me lose all drive to re-write it. But ANYway, I really love this. It's so great to see Karen in someone else's style, and you really did her justice. I love her expression - it's so intense, which is totally characteristic, and the outfit looks wonderful! Especially the drape of that sash back there. Oh, and her hands! Awesome! And major kudos for going with such a challenging angle - I'm way too chicken to try something like that. In short, this is terrific. I AM working on my half, I promise - it's in the coloring stage, but I've had a lot of distractions lately. I'll get it done soon! Really!

Haha, I know the feeling. I never want to redo something immediately after losing it. Maybe that's normal.
I'm so glad I caught her personality. I was a little worried about that one. As for the angle, it's copied from a photo. I'm a CHEATER.
*laughs* Take your time on your half. I sure took my time getting the information to you.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
A collection of the most beautiful and amazing square photographs I found among my favourites. Please have a look and give these artists the attention they deserve!
